Beer 60 - Bud Light

Brewed by Budweisser, presumably at the brewery in Fairfield, CA. Ah, the joys of business travel, it has been a long day and I just made it to the happy hour at my hotel in Westlake Village, CA, the Residence Inn where they provide residents with free beer and wine and food (tonight it is macaroni and salad) Bud Light is the only beer available, along with inexpensive red or white wine. Fortunately I don't stay for the food and drink but for the large comfortable rooms, pleasant drive to work and Marriott points.
So this is as good a time as any to add Bud Light to the tasting list. Unfortunately the beer did not exceed my low expectations. The color is pale lemon, there is a slight head and it is fizzy and cold with no unpleasant flavors so it should be good to slake a thirst. The only criticism I have is the absence of any taste that could be used to identify and differentiate the beer. It is bland. Oh well.
