Beer 268 - Theakstone Old Peculier (4.5 stars out of 5)

Brewed and bottled by T&R Theakston Ltd, The Brewery, Masham, Ripon, North Yorkshire, U.K.  Bought by Pat and drunk by me at Pat and Colin's house in Grotton, Yorkshire after Mum, Patricia and I arrived from Wellington for a visit and overnight stay before Patricia and I headed on to Scotland.  Pat and Colin had prepared a light lunch for us and this beer was a delightful inclusion to lunch.  It is lovely to see them again, along with John and Kath and Mum's twin sister Auntie Beat.

The web site says in a format I have not seen before, but that makes a lot of sense:

This was a delightful beer, the brewery description says it well "Rich, full-bodied, malty" I enjoyed this beer a lot and will undoubtedly be back for more.
