Samuel Adams Summer Ale
Brewed by Samuel Adams Brewery, bought and drunk at The Grill on the Alley restaurant in Thousand Oaks , CA as an aperitif at a very pleasant dinner with friends from Auto Expressions in Moorpark, CA.
The dinner was arranged for Frans' last visit to Moorpark.
The beer was served in a tall slim pilsner glass in which it produced a slight head. This is very much a beer for summer, light and easy to drink but with a nice flavor. Nothing complicated about this beer and no harsh taste, just pleasant and mellow. A good beer to wash down calamari or spinach and artichoke dip.
