The web site says "A creamy, full bodied sweet stout with a subtle chocolate and coffee flavors and a well balanced soft roastiness. Saint Arnold Winter Stout is loosely filtered to preserve a rich mouthfeel which is particularly satisfying during the colder months. Saint Arnold Winter Stout is best consumed at 45° Fahrenheit. Recommended pairing: Chocolate pudding cake, raw oysters, & roasted nuts. 5.6% alc/vol, OG 1.061"
I started off drinking this beer straight out of the 'fridge and it was rather dull and uninspiring. So I left it for a while on the kitchen counter and came back later when the chill had been taken off the beer. The character of the beer had changed completely. The beer now had a very nice full-bodied taste, slightly sweet but well balanced and pleasant to drink.
