Real Ale Alamo Golden Ale
Brewed by the Real Ale Brewing Co., Blanco , TX bought and drunk at Casa Rio on the Riverwalk in San Antonio, TX. In the picture the Alamo bottle is on the front of the table!!
The bottle says "A smooth and refreshing golden ale, brewed with a fiercely independent spirit. Brewed with a balanced blend of the finest hops and malted barley, Alamo golden ale is a full bodied ale with a smooth, almost velvety finish."
It's only rarely that I disagree with the copywriters on the bottle but I found this beer rather light in body and slightly bitter on the finish.
