Beer 241 - Saint Arnold Spring Bock (4 stars out of 5)

Brewed and bottled by Saint Arnold Brewing Company, Houston, TX.  Bought at HEB and drunk at home in Katy, TX after an evening test driving Nissan cars in our quest for a new car to replace Nicola's Vue and Patricia's Quest.

the web site: http://www.saintarnold.com/

The web site says "An authentic, German-style Bock, celebrating the coming of spring. This big, deeply flavored lager has been aged to create a smooth, malty taste with a hint of sweetness. A light addition of German hops balances the malt flavor.  Saint Arnold Spring Bock is best consumed at 40° Fahrenheit. Recommended pairings: Roasted chicken, goulash, & grilled game. ABV 6.4%"

I enjoyed this beer.  Perhaps it was the thirst bought on by hanging about in the dealers showroom waiting for cars to be found so we could test drive, perhaps it was the delight from the first mouthful that was smooth and full bodied and a pleasure to swallow.  The pleasure lasted through the glass.  A flavourful, easy to drink beer than satisfied the taste buds without assaulting them.
