Brewed in Shiner, TX, bought at HEB and drunk at home in Katy after spending Boxing day finishing the last moving from Pearland to Katy and moving Murphy as well. All three cats are now in Katy and the Pearland house is empty and clean. There are a few things in the garage that still have to be dealt with next Thursday.
the web site: http://www.shiner.com/main.php says:
"Light just doesn't quite capture the complex character of this handcrafted Shiner beer. At the "Little Brewery," our commitment to making the best beer anywhere yields a deep amber brew blended from choice Munich malts, select hops and pure Artesian water. Shiner Light sacrifices none of the taste or satisfaction while reducing calories and carbs. And every bottle of Shiner Light carries the signature of a Shiner, Texas, citizen – to remind folks" mine had the signature of Lee Bell.
On this instance I was tired and just needed something to quench my thirst. Shiner Light was in the fridge so I popped the top with my new UT bottle opener (thanks Sofia!) and drank straight from the bottle. No couth, but it was just what the doctor ordered. Problem was the beer was too cold to make any attempt at analyzing the taste, I enjoyed the thirst quenching capabilities though.
