By D.G.Yuengling and Son Inc., Pottsville, PA. Nowhere on the bottle does it say "brewed by" or "bottled by" but it does say "by America's Oldest Brewery". This is another beer bought by Rigo when he was flying in that region earlier this month, I am drinking it at home in Katy on Christmas day after an extremely lazy day doing not much of anything. How marvelous.
the brewery web site is: http://www.yuengling.com/
The website says that "Traditional Lager is an Iconic American Lager famous for it's rich amber color and medium-bodied flavor - with roasted caramel malt for a subtle sweetness and a combination of cluster and cascade hops this true original delivers a well balanced taste with very distinct character."
There is no sell-by date on the bottle so there is no way to tell when the beer was made, but there was something not quite right about this beer. The smell or the taste wern't bad, they just weren't quite right. It was a lot like water with some flavor, no character and nothing really to commend it and not a beer I would come back to.
