Grown, mashed, fermented, twisted and conditioned in Scotland and brewed by the Belhaven Brewery, Dunbar, East Lothian, Scotland. Once again I wonder if this is bottled in Scotland, or imported to the US in bulk and bottled by or on behalf of the importers, Belukus Marketing in College Station, Texas, since the label does not say "bottled in ..." anywhere. This beer was bought at Spec's Liquor and drunk at home in katy on Christmas eve as Patricia, Sofia and I prepared Mama Leny's Lasagna for our Christmas eve meal and present opening at or close to midnight tonight. Patricia was the master chef and I did a lot of stirring and mixing, as did Sofia.

Web site says "A stunning India Pale Ale (IPA), don't think that Belhaven's Twisted Thistle has anything jaggy, spikey, prickly or otherwise pain-inflicting in its nature. Quite the opposite. Your taste buds will tingle with pleasure after a sip or two of this golden nectar. A real treat from our master brewers in Dunbar." the bottle says "6.1% alc/vol. A refreshing example of an India pale Ale from the master brewers at Belhaven. The blend of Cascade and Challenger hops combine to produce an abundance of fresh hop aroma that preludes a bitter-dry taste explosion. Crafted from nearly three centuries of brewing heritage at one of Scotland's oldest breweries, this ale from Belhaven will have your taste buds tingling."
I liked this beer, the jaundiced yellow color was a little off-putting in the bottle, but was much better in the glass when it became more golden, but the nose and then taste were excellent. Nicely balanced with a little bitterness in the taste. A delightful drink
