Beer 159 - St Pauli Girl Lager

If the bottle only says "Brewed in Germany" does this mean the beer was imported in bulk and bottled in the USA?  The beer was brewed by St Pauli Brauerei C.L Wilh Brandt GmBH, Bremen, Germany.  It was bought at HEB Grocery and drunk at home in Katy, TX while relaxing before dinner.

The we site http://www.stpauligirl.com/lager.php gives no indication where the beer is bottled but it does say

"If you like a Girl that has a deep golden color, distinctive full-bodied taste and "hoppy" aroma, then the Lager is for you. This Girl has been a Gold Medal winner for the American Tasting Institute Best Full Calorie German Lager.
Two row spring barley from the south of England, a special strain of yeast, ice-age glacier water from the "Rotenburger Rinne," plus hops from the famous "Hallertau Hop Gardens" in southern Germany are the ingredients that give St. Pauli Girl Lager its unsurpassed quality and taste and keeps you coming back for more. 4.9% alcohol by volume, 148 calories, 0 grams of fat"

This is a nicely balanced beer with a little more character than a regular lager, one of the better imported brews.
