Beer 158 - Dos Equis Ambar

Brewed in Monterrey, Mexico by Cerveceria Cuauhtemoc Moctezuma.  Bought at HEB Grocery and drunk at home in Katy after a day spent packing the beer collection in Pearland so it is ready to move to storage, bringing our paintings from Pearland to Katy, buying two more air purifiers for Katy and then hanging Christmas lights outside the Katy house.  We had to leave Pearland early as the buyers home inspector was due at 1 pm, but we made a good start on the packing yesterday and today.

An interesting web site: http://dosequis.com/ with no information about the beer

The bottle says "crafted in mExico since 1897 to commemorate the arrival of the 'XX' century. Dos Equis stands for two X's in Spanish.  In our second century of fine brewing tradition we continue offering Dos Equis Ambar, a rich robust flavored beer with the smooth drinkability of a classic dark-style lager.  A true Mexican work of art."

i enjoyed the beer, it was refreshing, tasty and well balanced, just what I needed after a busy day.
