beer 256 - Bristol Brewing Red Rocket Pale Ale (3.5 stars out of 5)

Brewed and kegged by Bristol Brewing Company, Colorado Springs, CO.  Bought and drunk at the Mountain Vista Grille restaurant / bar in Colorado Springs airport while waiting for my connecting flight to Houston.

The web site: http://www.bristolbrewing.com/our_beers.asp?brs_id=9

the we site says: Red Rocket pale Ale is "the beer that started it all is lively and hoppy right up front, with just enough malt flavor to balance the crisp finish. Red Rocket's hop character comes from a blend of Perle, Willamette, Cascade, and Palisade hops. Dry-hopped with Cascade for a delectable aroma. An award winner. 5.25% ABV, 28 IBUs"

I found the beer to be crisp and clean and nicely refreshing but with slight bitterness in the initial taste that lingered through the aftertaste.  This beer would go nicely with with a meat lovers pizza from Pizza Hut in the same little food court at the airport, but I only hade time for the beer without food.
