Beer 374 - Southern Star Bombshell Blonde Ale (3 stars out of 5)

Brewed and canned by Southern Star Brewing Co, Conroe, TX.  Bought from HEB in Katy, TX and drunk at home in Katy, TX while watching the NASCAR race on TV from New Hamshire, while Patricia helps Sofia with her calculus

The web site says "Description:  A rich, creamy golden colored ale fermented at a cool temperature to give a clean finish.  Hints of yeasty bread and a touch of hops combine to make a beer that is truly more than the sum of its parts. .ABV:  5.25%"
The can says: "Bombshell Blond is brewed with American pale and German Vienna malts that combine to give this ale it's distinctive smooth, creamy body.  Just enough hops are added to this rich, golden colored ale to perfectly balance it's beady finish.  It is non-filtered, non-pasteurized; no additives or preservatives are ever added to take away from its delicate taste.  Whether enjoyed on the golf course, on the beach, or simply sitting at home, one sip from this bombshell
will blow you away.”

I enjoyed the beer but found it unremarkable. It was pleasant, with a fairly light body and an easy to drink taste in the mouth.  I would drink this again, but wouldn’t go out of my way to search it out.
