Brooklyn Pennant Ale 55
Brewed by Brooklyn Brewery, Utica, NY bought at Specs Liquor, Houston TX and drunk while watching Patricia cook sausages and create a salad for our supper.
The bottle says "Pennant Ale is brewed from Scottish Maris Otter malt which is justly prized for it's toasty, biscuity flavor and the round smoothness it imparts. Our house ale yeast brings out an appetizing fruitiness and ferments to a dry finish."
A very pleasant drink, the slight bitterness is well balanced so it does not linger on the aftertaste. We both enjoyed this beer.
