Beer 345 - Dodging Duck Flight of the Falcon IPA (3.5 stars out 0f 5)

Brewed, bought and served at the Dodging Duck Brewhaus and Restaurant, Boerne, TX where we went for dinner after spending the morning visiting The Houston Zoo and The Houston Children's Museum with a large poster of Flat Chloe before heading to San Antonio to take pictures with Flat Chloe at the Alamo.  This is a school project for Chloe and we are glad to help and form our own little adventure.  So tonight we are staying at the Fairfield Inn in Boerne, TX (about 30 miles NW of San Antonio), before exploring San Antonio in the morning.
We both ate sausage from Opa's meats in Fredericksburg, Patricia tried Country Style with Potato Salad and I tried a combo of Knackwurst and Bratwurst, with Sauerkraut and Potato Salad.  The sausage was OK, but I think I will choose something else on the menu if we go again.

Beers rotate regularly at the Dodging Duck.  The web site says "
On August 1, 2002, we introduced craft beer to Boerne. We brew our beer in a 10 barrel (320 gallon) Bohemian Brewery system, located in a separate building near the rear entrance. We've won three gold and three silver medals (so far!) for our beer in international competitions. Our beer is fresh, unfiltered and unpasteurized, stored at 34°F (1.1°C), and poured directly from four stainless steel serving tanks through chilled lines. It has virtually no contact with light or air until it hits your glass, for the best tasting beer you'll ever experience! Cheers!
Currently On Tap: all our beer is served from our four large serving tanks. We try to have a range of beers on tap all the time: from light to dark in color and from mild to bitter in bitterness. Our selection changes throughout the year--we brew up to 20 different styles per year!

The beer was very nice, a slight bite as IPAs should have and plenty of flavor.  The body was good though the head was a little light when the beer arrived at our table.  This was a good choice to go with the sausage.
