So today April 4th, 2016 I drank another Bud Light Lime. Here is the picture with the bottle and glass in front of our newly planted tomato patch. The flower behind the bottle is a marigold, planted to keep the bugs away from the tomatoes. This is the second batch of tomato plants we've planted, the first batch were planted last November and are just now on their last legs.
When I was much younger, living at home in Wellington in the UK as a teenager, we used to go dancing on a Saturday night and the drinking age was 16 at that time. I didn't really like the taste of English bitter and could just about stand the taste of lager that was flavored with a generous dollop of Roses Lime Juice. We thought we were so manly, drinking our lager and lime while the ladies drank babycham. There are stories I could tell, but this is neither the time nor the place to embarrass myself (or my friends)
This is what Bud Light with Lime reminds me off. At that time I wanted a beer that had little or no taste, a beer that I could drink lots of without getting drunk, a beer that didn't leave an aftertaste in my mouth to spoil the snogging on the walk home after the dancing. That's exactly what Bud Light with Lime is. A faint lime taste that's not unpleasant, little or no beer taste.
So if I want something that is a little more flavorful than plain sparkling water to wash down spicy food, then this is the drink. It's not really a beer and there is nothing to commend it as a stand alone drink, but try it with spicy taco's or nachos with jalapenos and it will probably help the digestion.

Another beer opened and drank and posted."
I still have the flu and no taste buds.
More importantly, today my daughter Nicola delivered Austin Graham into the world in Bathgate, Scotland. Isn't he gorgeous.
