Shiner Prickly Pear

Brewed and bottled by Shiner Brewing in Shiner, TX. The beer was given to me by my friend Harley who bought it in a mixed 12 pack of Shiner beers at an auction to benefit United Way at work.

I drank the beer at home while preparing dinner as Patri finished the first stage of her marketing exam.

The bottle say "this small batch brew is third in our limited edition brewers pride craft brew series. A combination of Citra and US Golding hops gives this refreshing lager it's citrus flavor and floral aroma. The brews signature tartness comes from the fruit of the prickly pear, a cactus native to our brewery's landscape that's hearty, rugged and unmistakably unique - qualities we surely appreciate. Prosit"

Light, easy to drink and thirst quenching, an interesting diversion, but not a beer I would like to drink again.
