Brewed and bottled by Magic Hat Brewing Company, South Burlington, VT. Bought at HEB grocery store in Cinco Ranch and drunk at home in Katy, TX while waiting for Sofia to arrive home on spring break so we can decide what to eat for dinner or go out. This is a second tasting for the beer which was first tried on 5/6/11 when I wasn't feling too well.
Each bottle has a different saying printed on the inside of the cap. This one says "great beer is quite near"
This is Magic Hat's spring seasonal beer. The bottle neck label says "The ancient ritual of brewing a distinctly rich and flavorful beer is a performance to behold. Our mysterious mélange of time honored ingredients harmonize with chaotic chemistry, humble patience and blind faith to create unique beers to share in the rousing company of kindred spirits. Cheers!"
A pleasant lager with a slightly sour aftertaste.
