Beer 358 - Blue Moon Grand Cru (3 stars out of 5)

Brewed by the Blue Moon Brewing Co, Golden, CO.  Blue Moon is a subsidiary of Molson Coors.  Bought at Specs on Old Katy Road and drunk at home in Katy, TX while preparing dinner.

There is no mention of this beer on the Blue Moon web site. The bottle says "In the Belgian tradition, a Grand Cru is brewed for special occasions.  In celebration of the holiday season we've brewed a special-edition Blue Moon Grand Cru.  This artfully crafted brew is a bolder take on our classic Blue Moon Belgian White Belgian-style wheat ale that blends flavors of orange peel and coriander for a warm spicy finish.  The presence of brewers yeast in this unfiltered ale results in naturally occurring sediments that accentuate the flavor. 8.2% ABV"

Quite enjoyable, but not as much body as I expected. The strength of the beer took me by surprise and I felt light headed after finishing the bottle.
