Brewed and bottled by Great Lakes Brewing Co, Cleveland, OH. Bought at the Great Lakes Restaurant in terminal C at Cleveland airport while on my way back from Hartford and drunk at home in Katy, TX while sitting on the patio pondering the happenings in Japan and the Middle East and North Africa and wondering why politicians in Washington and the right wing newspapers cannot recognize that a fundamental problem in America leading to continual growth of the deficit is the absolute value of the military spending. Spending excessive amounts of money on financing a military bigger than the next 10 largest countries combined will affect my retirement, my social security and my old age. But still I enjoyed the evening warmth and sunshine after the time change.
The brewery web site:

the web site says: "
Name Origin: Hailing from Dortmund, Germany, the name of this smooth lager reflects the unprecedented accolades and recognition it’s earned in major worldwide beer tasting competitions.
Style Origin: During the mid-19th century, seven breweries within the city of Dortmund, Germany, began brewing beers in the same manner, resulting in what has come to be known as the “Dortmunder” style.
Flavor: Delicate balance between sweet malt and dry hop flavors. ABV 5.8%"
I enjoyed this beer a lot. It had a very nice flavor with a great balance between sweetness and bitterness, good body and a very nice mouthfeel and aftertaste.
