Beer 245 - Saint Arnold Brown Ale (3.5 out of 5 stars)

Brewed and bottled in Houston, TX , bought at HEB and drunk at home in Katy, TX after dinner.

The web site: http://www.saintarnold.com/beers/brown.html

the web site says: "A beautiful, deep copper brown ale. It has a full, malty body with hints of chocolate, a touch of sweetness and a light hop flavor. A complex malt character is created by combining five different types of malts. It has a rich, creamy head with a fine lace. The light fruitiness, characteristic of ales, is derived from a proprietary yeast strain.  Saint Arnold Brown Ale is best consumed at 45-50° Fahrenheit.  Recommended pairings: Pecan crusted snapper & venison.  5.3% ABV"

This is a good brown ale, slightly sweet and with a definite chocolate flavor.  A pleasant beer to drink after dinner while relaxing and talking (or typing a review into the computer!)
