Carolina Beer Company, Wilkes-Barre, PA. Bottled in Wilkes-Barre. Bought by Rigo on his last trip to a very snowy east coast and drunk at home in Katy, TX after dinner.
The web site: http://www.carolinabeer.com/Carolina_Beer/Home/?load explains that Carolina Beer Company has sold it's brands to Foothills Brewing - also based in North Carolina - and Foothills Brewing will continue to produce all brands currently offered by Carolina Beer Company. Carolina Beer and Beverage will concentrate on bottling soft drinks and energy drinks, a business that has grown exponentially faster than the craft beer business.
This was OK, but not not a beer I would come back to. There was a dullness and flatness to the taste that couldn't be enlivened by the fizz. Perhaps Foothills can make a better tasting beer.
