Brewed and bottled by Unibroue, Chambly, Quebec, Canada. (owned by Sapporo International, Japan) Bought at HEB and drunk at home in Katy, TX while surfing the internet.
The web site: http://www.unibroue.com/en/beers/la_fin_du_monde/product has a great video with a story of the legend of La Fin Du Monde (The end of the world) together with notes about aging and some super recipes for cooking with the beer.
This is a strong (9.0% alc/vol) full bodied ale, best served at cellar temperature (~58 deg) and will apparently be at its best after three years. It is a delightful beer, nicely balanced, and full of flavor. I like this beer and will buy some more to cellar and keep for a few years.
