beer 209 - Pyramid Apricot Ale

From Pyramid Brewing Co, Seattle, Portland and Berkeley.  Bought at HEB as part of a make-your-own six pack and drunk at home in Katy while waiting for Patricia to call to say she has finished work and is ready to be picked up.

web site: http://www.pyramidbrew.com/our-brews/apricot

the web site says "Our flavorful Apricot Ale boldly combines the taste and aroma of fresh apricot with the smooth finish of wheat malt. Its refreshingly unfiltered character and fruit flavor make it an ale worth savoring. OG 11.5, BU 11, 5.1% alc/vol.

A definite smell and taste of apricots with no bitterness make this a light and easy summertime drink.  This would be perfect with a apple (or apricot) pie and ice cream eaten on the patio on a warm summer afternoon.
