Adelbert's Tripel B Bad Boy Brew

Www.adelbertsbeer.com bottled 11/29/12, batch 5, bottle 2003. Austin, TX, 9.3% alc/vol. Belgian-style Tripel Ale, bottle conditioned.

The bottle says "Dell was one of those mischievous 1970's men who liked to push social conventions. Dell's college years were intertwined with a whirlwind of girls, parties, road trips and occasional studies.

Tripel B is spicy and complex with ester/clove aromas, a light straw color and moderate carbonation. Pair with rich creamy foods like roasts, lobster, and cream brulee.

Adelbert's Brewery is a tribute to George Adelbert Hovey (1953-2000) the founders brother. Del always took time to enjoy a good ale with family and friends. He visited and resided in many parts of the world, whole-heartedly embracing the local people. He was a generous individual, genuinely concerned with the welfare of everyone he met. Whether he was working with the president of his company or a worker hand pollinating flowers in a greenhouse, he treated them with respect and dignity. He lived to a high standard of empathy and self-sacrifice.

Adelbert's beer is brewed using Old world Bohemian floor malt and hops. We do a multi step decoction mash which brings out the complex rich flavors of the malts. After a three week fermentation and conditioning process we naturally carbonate and further condition in the bottle with fresh yeast for at least 3 weeks. This process is more time consuming and expensive than standard brewery processes but results in a smoother ale that stays fresh longer."
