Brewed and canned by the Karbach Brewing Company in Houston, TX. at a little brewery converted from a warehouse in the north west part of town, just outside the 610 loop. Bought at the HEB grocery store in Cinco Ranch and drunk at home sitting on the upstairs patio, winding down from a busy day. There isn't a cloud in the sky and not a breath of wind, the temperature is a pleasant 84 degrees with 33% humidity. This is wonderful
The can says:
"Cuidado. He lurks in the shadows, waiting in bold anticipation. He's surprisingly bitter. Bitter about something. Legend has it that he feasts on those with fresh hops coursing through their veins. This dry hopped Texas IPA hasa flavor as defiant as the Hopadillo himself. It's packed with the bracing bitterness of hops from around the world that this creature craves. He's a comin' to get ya. You've been warned.
I've drank this beer before, on tap, while visiting the brewery. I enjoyed it more on draught. From the can, the beer is very hoppy and bitter and dosen't have the balance of flavors that make an enjoyable sipping beer. This beer needs strong spicy foods to counter the bitterness.
