Beer 89 - Sol
October 5, 2010, beer 89
Sol
Brewed by Cerveceria Cuauhtemoc Moctezuma in Monterrey, Mexico. Bought at Spec's Liquor,
Houston and drunk at home in Katy while preparing turkey sausage and black beans and rice for dinner.
Patricia thought the beer was OK, it was easy to drink but had no impact - it was rather bland. On this we agree. This is another of those beers that appear to be brewed to offend no one. It is largely alcoholic fizzy water with a slight beer taste, best served very cold so the taste buds don't have to strain to find something to taste since they are numb from the cold.
