Beer 349 - Bell's Oberon (4 stars out of 5)
Brewed and bottled by Bell's Brewery, Comstock, MI. Bought by my friend and colleague Morgan in Michigan and carried back to Houston in her luggage last weekend. Drunk at home in Katy, TX while preparing dinner.
web site: http://bellsbeer.com/index.php?cID=48
the web site says "Bell's Oberon is a wheat ale fermented with Bell's signature house ale yeast, mixing a spicy hop character with mildly fruity aromas. The addition of wheat malt lends a smooth mouthfeel, making it a classic summer beer. 5.8% ABV"
A delightful, light but very flavorful beer for a summer evening. A beautiful orange color with a nice head in the glass. Hints of citrus in the taste and a nice aftertaste. I liked this beer, a lot.
