Sapporo 'imported' Premium Beer
The can says this is Japan's oldest brand and it is imported, but only from Canada. All sapporo beer sold in North America is brewed at the Sleeman Brewery in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. This can was bought at Spec's Liquor in Houston and drunk at home in Katy, TX while preparing mushrooms on toast for dinner.
An unremarkable beer, this is another of those generic easy to drink lagers that taste OK but have nothing to distinguish themselves from hundreds of other beers that serve the lowest common denominator of beer drinkers, those that want an uncomplicated taste that quenches a thirst.
