beer 214 - Coors Light - (1/2 star out of 5)

brewed in Colorado by the Molson Coors Brewing Company, Golden, CO.  Bought and drunk at Fuddruckers in Austin, TX where we went for lunch with Sofia (it was her choice of restaurant) and I really enjoyed a half pounder with fries and lots of melted cheese. yummy.

web site: http://www.coorslight.com/

Neither the website or the bottle give any indication what's in the beer.   Realbeer.com says the beer is 4.2% alc/vol and has 102 calories. To be completely fair to the beer I made sure the mountains on the bottle were blue before opening the bottle.  Coors say that the beer is ready to drink when it is cold enough for the thermochromatic ink in the mountain design on the bottle to turn blue.

Unfortunately it didn't help.  The beer has a Little fizz, no body and very little flavor.  The taste is suitable for drinking only when it is the only option available and the tap water is suspect.  The flavor is not bad, its not really anything except bland.  The only way to drink this beer is really, really cold so your taste buds are numb from the cold and cannot taste anything, then and only then does the liquid help wash down the hamburger.
