Adelbert's Tripel B Bad Boy Brew

Another excellent Texas beer, this one brewed and bottled in Austin, Texas by Adelbert's Brewery. Bought at HEB in Cinco Ranch (my favorite grocery store) and drunk at home while watching the NASCAR race from Texas on Fox.

The bottle says "serve at 45-55 deg in the proper tulip glass. Batch no 006, bottled on 1/29/2013.

The Beer. Spicy and complex with ester/clove aromas, a light straw color and moderate carbonation. Pair with rich creamy foods like steaks, roasts, earthy cheeses and cheese cake.

The Story. Del was one of those mischievous 1970's men who like to push social conventions. Del's college years were intertwined with a whirlwind of girls, parties, road trips and occasional studies.
