Jester King Mad Meg Organic Farmhouse Provision Ale

Brewed and bottled in Austin, Texas by Jester King Craft Brewery. Certified organic by the Texas Department of Agriculture. Bought at Central Market on Westheimer, Houston, TX, while surveying ideas for new products and packaging for ITW GB. Drunk at home in Cinco Ranch, TX while preparing dinner from leftover pork from our lovely dinner with Rebecca and Gary last night at Perry's.

The bottle says "To hell with the status quo, to hell with your archetypes, to hell with it all. To the smoldering depths of the earth I went, and from there I have returned. Villain, hero or heroine? Ha, they burn all the same! The sea of cinder spares no chaff, respecting only the simplest elements strong enough to bear it. So the, I'll see you in hell, or do you fear you'd just be fuel for the fire?

Jester King Craft Brewery is an authentic farmhouse brewery in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, on the outskirts of Austin. We brew what we like, drink what we want and offer the rest to those who share our tastes.

Notes, spice, funk and citrus yeast character combines with earthy noble hops to create this simple yet assertive beer. Naturally carbonated through re-fermentation in the bottle."

Very pleasant. Enough character to make it interesting. Strong at 8.9% ABV, and with a hint of bitterness than is well balanced by the malt so it doesn't overpower the taste. I enjoyed this beer
