Beer 362 - Julius Echter Hefe-Weiss-Dunkel (3.5 stars out of 5)

Brewed and bottled by Wurzburger Hofbrau, Wurzburg, Germany.  Bought at Spec's on old katy road and drunk at home in Katy, TX while preparing dinner.

The great brewers web site says "This dark hefeweizen displays a rich, lingering head foam, an amber-hued body, and the subtle aroma of banana and clove. The spicy flavor is enhanced by the silky mouth feel obtained through the use of wheat. The lingering finish yields to subtle roasted malt flavors.
Best With: This traditional German dunkel weizen pairs quite well with rich meats such as suckling pig, roast duck, or wild boar"

Very pleasant and enjoyable, nice body and taste but generally run of the mill.
