Beer 354 - Weihenstephaner Korbinian (4.5 stars out of 5)

Brewed and bottled by Bay Stats Brauerei, Wiehenstephan, Freising, Germany, claiming to be  the World's oldest brewery since 1040 AD.  Bought at Spec's on old Katy Road and drunk at home in Katy, TX while preparing dinner.

The brewery web site: http://www.weihenstephaner.de/index2.html?lang=eng
US Importers web site: http://www.totalbeveragesolution.com/brands/label.php?lID=25&bID=4&type=Beer

The web site says; "A double bock beer that has what it takes. Not just for lovers of strong beer. With a malty aroma and great taste, our Korbinian is a true beer specialty. It goes well with smoked meat and fish as well as wild roasts and fowl.
Analytical data:
Original wort: 18.3% by weight Alcohol content: 7.4% by volume
Bittering power: 32
Caloric content: 340 Kcal/0.5 I"

I enjoyed this beer a lot, nice flavor, felt good in the mouth when I was drinking it and lots of well balanced flavor.  Worth coming back to
