Beer 339 -Breckenridge Avalanche Amber Ale (3.5 stars out of 5)
Brewed and bottled by Breckenridge Brewery, Denver, CO. Bought at Spec's on Old Katy Road, and drunk at home in Katy, TX after shopping at Lowe's for 8' x 4' x 1/2 inch plywood boards so we are prepared to board up the house in the event of a hurricane. Fortunately Rigo was here to help and we moved 10 boards in Sofia's Toyota then carried the boards into the back garden and stored then against the house behind a tarpaulin. Next weekend I'll measure the windows and cut the boards for each window. Just as I poured the beer, Sofia decided she was ready to got to dinner, so I drank it rather quickly before we went to Olive Garden.

The wen site says: "Subtlety. That's what makes our Avalanche amber ale such a treat. We blend pale and caramel malts – and just a kiss of bittering hops – to create a refreshing-but-flavorful, any-time beer. Aromas of pale grains, a semi-sweet middle and a clean-as-Colorado-snow finish make this our best-selling beer. 5.41% ABV"
A nice beer, drunk rather to quickly, but I still enjoyed the taste and flavor.
