Brewed in Shiner, TX bought at HEB Grocery and drunk at home in Katy, TX while listening to election coverage on NPR.
The bottle says : First brewed to commemorate our 97 th anniversary this bohemian black lager remains true to the old- world heritage of the German and Czech immigrants who settled shiner, imported Czech saaz and styrian hps and selected roasted malts make the. " Schwarzbier" our darkest brew yet. Almost black in the glass I wa dissapointed by the lack of a discerible taste to make the brew stand out. It was pleasant enough and easy to drink but perhaps a little bland and uninspiring and gave me nothing to make me want to search it out and try it again
