Beer 329 - Badger Original Ale (4 stars out of 5)

Brewed at Hall and Woodhouse Ltd, Blandford St Mary, Dorset, England.  Bought when we were in England a few weeks ago and carried back to the USA in our luggage, then drunk at home in Katy, TX with dinner.

web site: http://www.hall-woodhouse.co.uk/beers/badgerales/badgeroriginal.asp

The web site says: "
A traditional premium ale, well hopped with a smooth finish.
A traditional well hopped country ale, craft brewed for a malty flavour with subtle fruity notes. Pleasantly bitter with a smooth finish.
The Original
Using as inspiration the first Badger ale supplied to farm workers in the 1700's and later, to the army in the Napoleonic Wars, Original is a premium adaptation of the famous draught Badger Best Bitter, benefitting richly from the experience of generations of Head Brewers from those times to today. A taste of the past in the present.
"Authentic and quaffable" character - a taste of the past in the present."

I njoyed this beer a lot, eminently drinkable with lots of flavor and a nice body.
