Beer 319 - Hollande 1620 (3.5 stars out of 5)

Brewed and bottled by H-West BV, Marssen, Holland.  The brand is owned by Bavaria Brewing Company, a privately held brewer in Holland who also markets Bavaria beer in the USA.  Bought at HEB Cinco Ranch and drunk at home with dinner on the evening after dropping Nicola at the sirport for her flight home.  It was lovely to have her here for a few days, though the visit was too short and we missed Austin and Stephen.

the web site: http://hollandebeer.com/

The web site says: "Hollande 1620..a lager beer with a 400-year old tradition. Dutch history records our brewery as early as 1620, in the feudal province of Ultrecht. If you find yourself in the pretty market town of Maarssen, please stop by the brewery and experience the sentiment and heritage of this historic place yourself. In the meantime, you can taste the results of 400 years experience in a single bottle of Hollande 1620. ABV: 4.8%"

A nice golden lager with a pleasant mouthfeel and nice body.  It drank very well and is a great alternative to the other Dutch beers that are a little flacid.
