The beer was really dark in the glass and poured with a nice head that quickly dissipated. The taste was neither good nor bad, a little bit blah really. Slight bitterness in the background and hints of dark chocolate.
Left Hand Milk Stout is actually one of my favorite beers. It has the dark syrupy body of a stout but manages to be smooth to the taste as well. It is great to sip while munching on macadamia nuts or feasting on roast pork.
