Beer 215 - Warsteiner Premium Verum (2 stars out of 5)

A product of Germany, naturally brewed according to the German Purity Law.  Ingredients are brewing water, barley malt and hop extract.  Bought at HEB and drunk at home while preparing macaroni cheese for dinner.

A well balanced but light tasting beer, light in color and fairly low in alcohol (4.8% alc/vol).  A taste of bitterness from the hops adds to the character without spoiling the taste.  This would be a good beer to drink on a Sunday afternoon while working in the garden, when refreshment was more important than taste to be savored.
